I am a New Jersey and New York licensed psychologist (NJ #35SI00507600; NY #018891) and have been in private practice since 2012. I also have temporary nonresident permission to practice psychology in Ohio.
I received my bachelor's degree in 2001 (magna cum laude in psychology) from Harvard University, and my doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Ph.D., 2009) from Emory University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where I focused on short-term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I then completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College, where I focused on psychodynamic approaches to treatment and received specialized training in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy for Borderline Personality Organization at The Personality Disorders Institute, directed by Dr. Otto Kernberg.
A native of the United Kingdom, I have lived in various parts of the United States including Florida, Georgia, and Massachusetts before settling in the Tri-State area. Prior to entering private practice, I served as a psychologist in outpatient clinics as well as a unit psychologist in an inpatient setting. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the New Jersey Psychological Association.
